I haven't really had a chance to write in Live Journal lately because my job makes me busy. Plus, I don't ever think to go to the library anymore. I, however, am here tonight! I am going to update everyone on the goings on in my simple life.

I already told everyone that I got a new car and that we were going to the HIM concert.

We went to the HIM concert and it was a blast. It was me my friend Alexis and Blkvamp. A guy from Blkvamps work met us there, however by the time he got there we were already pretty trashed, so that was fun. They divided The Ogden into 2 parts, one for everyone who was not drinking and everyone under 21 and then the other section was for the drinkers. It was a small section and wasn't very close to the stage, but we still had a lot of fun. Finch and a band that Alexis swears she knows opened. HIM was awesome and of course Ville Valo (the lead singer) looked hot as always. He drank and smoked a lot on stage. We hit on some guys, one looked like the lead singer of Poison and the other had a Nightmare Before Christmas tattoo. After the concert we went to a bar and hung out awhile and talked. All in all it was a very fun night. I had to work the next day at 8:30am, so that was way fun too!! (sarcasm)

That is really the only big thing that has happened since I got my car.

Small things that happened:

I finally got one of my guy characters drawn for my manga, however, he no longer has a name. He is the drummer in a goth-rock band from New York, if anyone can think of a good name tell me, I am completely stuck!

Blkvamp and I saw Jarhead (which was very good, but they talked a lot about masterbating) and we also went down to the Tivioli and saw MirrorMask. That was amazing. One of the guys who worked on it also worked on The Labrith and The Dark Crystal. Neil Gaiman also worked on it.

I also put a CD player in my car and it rocks!

I JUST GOT MY NEW CAR ON FRIDAY! I AM SOOOOO EXCITED! IT IS HOWEVER HUGE! A BIG 1990 MITSUBISHI MONTERO!

OH YEAH! I AM ALSO GOING TO THE 'HIM' CONCERT ON THE 19TH WITH BLKVAMP AND MY FRIEND ALEXIS!

Well I have to say that I am doing a lot better with all the things in my life. I mean I still have some stressful momoments but who doesn't.

MY JOB:
I LOVE IT!!
I am really excited. I am getting paid more than I have before and I might be up for a raise, because....I just got a full time postion in the Preschool room (around 3 yrs old). I am also working with someone that I get along with, so that is always good. I am really happy that it is working out.

THE BUS:
It's not bothering me as much, because I have been able to read while I am on the bus. I have read 3 of 10 of The Vampire Cronicles. I am starting on book 4.

MY CAR:
I don't have a car yet, but hopefully soon. A girl that I work with told me how she got her car. She bought her car from the Denver Police department auto auction, for $300. So I am going to try to do that.

Things are starting to work out!!!

So it has been quite a while since I have written, that is because my life has become a mess. I did, however, get a job at a Day Care. It is called Primrose Schools. It is a private day care and private preschool. I like it a lot. However, about 20 - 30 mins before I found out about the job, I got into a car accident and no longer have a car to drive, so I am taking the bus to work everyday. It takes me about 45mins - about an hour to get there and is kind of a pain, but I get to read on the bus and I feel great after my walks to and from the bus stop. I also have to move out as soon as possible, which would be completely fine with me if I wasnt being pressured by my family.

I have been getting to know my mom a lot better and I am very excited about that. She has a car that they are trying to sell and I am going to ask her if I would be able to buy it from her.

Anyway, I am excited that Blkvamp and I are definately going to go to NDK this year and we have started to figure out costumes for it. That will be a lot of fun.

I am so very excited that Kit is coming home for a visit! I am not even upset that I don't have a job because then I will be able to see her!! I wish that she was coming for a longer period of time, but I will deal with it.

I am however, still looking for a job. I have been looking in the newspaper every Sunday, sending out about 15 resumes every week and recently I have been getting about 3 interviews every week, so it is looking a little better. I am in a really good mood, for the first time in like 5 weeks. It is partly because Kit is coming and partly because I am reorganizing.

Now for those of who know me, I know what you are thinking..."she organizes at least once a week, so no big deal!" However, this time you are completely wrong! You are right to think that I clean everyweek, but this time I am getting rid of all of the junk that I do not use. I have to say it feels great to have more room, plus I am going to be ready when I do get a job and I am able to move a lot easier! Blkvamp and I were going to have a garage sale, but I have family coming into town and I have nowhere to keep the stuff until we have the sale, so I have decided to donate it all, which also feels pretty good. So I am hoping to bring some good kharma into my life!

Well I have to say that it has been quite a long time since I have updated my journal. I figured it was about time.

As you all know I have been looking for a job recently and the outcome is most likely the reason that I have not written. In fact I have even gotten to the library recently because I have been the most upbeat person in the world.

I am feeling that a huge case of Deja Vu has come over me. I was not planning on telling my family that I quit my job because I knew what would happen. I would get a huge lecture about quitting and that I had to get a job right away and it would go on for hours, from every single person in the family. Ok maybe I should not have quit before I found another job, but I just get so mad and so frustrated that I couldnt deal with it anymore. Last Saturday May 29th, somehow my uncle Kenneth found out about the situation and starting in on what I did wrong, and I am one of those people who does better with nobody hounded me at very turn I make. I mean come on who is motivated by somebody telling what you did wrong and hounding you? Then my aunt Kristie found out (and she is worse then my uncle Kenneth) and then it just went down hill from there. After Kenneth found out I really haven't been so motivated to look for a job, in fact I haven't done anything about in about a week. (I am, however, working on it today!)

As you can see, I have not been the happiest person in the world the last couple of weeks. I am sorry to those who have had to hang out with me recently.

On a happier note (dripping with sarcasm!), I have discovered just how crazy my family is and that it is way past time for me to leave my family life behind!

Well, I have to say this is the worst part about quiting is having to look for a new job afterwards. I had a freak out moment on Saturday (my last day a the hell whole)! Blkvamp, I am sure, was very annoyed by that moment. I text messaged her that I was starting to regret the choice I had made, but she helped me out of that moment and now I am passed it.

Today I went on www.monster.com and applied to many many jobs. And I also applied at The Container Store (which I really want)! So I hope something will come through for me.

If any of you out there have any ideas where to find a great paying job with not very much expierance. (3 years in child care and about 2 in retail, if you put it all together), please tell me about it.

Thank you for the support Grapletini, everyone is starting to come around. You have been there for us when we needed you too. When my aunt realized that I could save money, she started to support me. I did have a hard time not speaking to her for a week.

I am every excited to move out and I know that Blkvamp is also. However, we are going to have to postpone the move until I get a new job. Saturday April 23rd I went into work after a very long week of Babies 'r' Us treating their employees like complete crap, I decided that I was done and I quit. Blkvamp is being very supportive even though I know she was ready to move out. She did get to hear about all the crap that happened last week though, so she agree that it was time to end it. I am not the only one to quit within the last 2 weeks. They have lost 20 people in the last 2 weeks and believe me they will be losing more than that.

Now I have hated this job since the beginning, but last week they topped their reputation. A week and a half ago, right after my vacation, I went in and ask for a full time position. The store manager said that it wouldn't be a problem for me to get one. Then on Wednesday of last week he came to me and said that the only way that I would get a full time position if I was to impress ALL of the asst. managers. HA HA thats really funny. One of them would be know problem. We get along very well and I have recently turned him into a huge anime fan. However, the other two asst. managers would be a problem. One has an enormous ego and would never be impressed if his life depended on it (however, he has been sweet this last week, since I quit). The 3rd asst. manager would be the toughest because: 1. He is completely new to our store so he has no idea who I am. 2. He has not said more than 10 words to me (I had to introduce myself to him. 3. He is the new front end manager and all of the cashier come to me for help instead of him or Toni who is our front end supervisor, I have told all of them to go to Toni, but they don't. 4. Nobody likes him even a little bit (not even the other managers)!

This is just one of the things that they have done in the last week and let me tell you there are many more things that happened.

So I am back from California and let me just tell you I had a whole bunch of fun! I got to go to a spa, the beach, L.A., Chinatown, on a very long walk to the beach, and I got to miss the 16" of snow that Denver got. That was a great trip.

However, 2 days after I got back I got into a huge fight with my aunt. It was not pretty. Blkvamp and I have decided to move out as soon as it is possible, well possible for me. I have been saving my money and have already made good progress. Sarah is kind of waiting for me (isn't that really nice of her). Anyway, my aunt threw a huge fit about me moving out and doesn't think that I can do it. Well, I have decided to not like it change my mind. I know that I can do, I guess I was searching for some support from my aunt. After my fight my grandma called my aunt back and stood up for me. It was a great moment in my life. I know my grandparents will miss me but I do believe it is time for me to move on in my live. I also have to support of my dad and step-mom, in fact they were very excited for me. Blkvamp and I are also VERY excited we have already started to look for apartments and find out all the info we need. Plus, we have already saved a good amount of money.

Hey, by the way, we should all congratulate Blkvamp on her recent success. She just got a HUGE promotion to Asst. Manager at the e-store of The Shane Company. I know that she is more excited then she wants to show and I think that maybe she will be more willing to show it if we congratulate her.

I have not been able to right here lately because I was getting to come to California and here I am. i am having a great time in cali, wishing everyone was here with me. we have gone to L.A., chinatown, hollywood and the beach. we have also recently started checking out san diego. in hollywood we met this really great and cute street preformer and we bought his Cd. it has been a lot of fun so far and there is more to come. we are having a spa day on monday and then i leave tuesday afternoon.

I am so excited. I am going to California in April to see my aunt Kristie! I haven't been on a trip for sooo long. It will be nice to have a vacation from my job. I am going to be there for a week and to tell you the truth I can's wait. The best thing about the situation is that I am using my ETO (earned time off) hours, so I am going to be getting paid to hang out in California with my favorite aunt!

Work is completely driving me insane and I do believe that every single person that I work with is completely incompetent. I cannot stand many of them at long periods. Today was a normal Monday, we were pretty slow and not much drama when it come to customers, but then there was the fact that the manager had only scheduled 2 cashiers all day long and guess who was one of them (ME!). I never work as a cashier, but today I was. The only customer that was crazy was one that I didn't have to deal with, so that was nice. Lately the biggest pain in my butt has been the soda machine, well it's more of a refrigerator, but anyways, I have had to reorganize that thing so many times that I can't even count it anymore. Then the closing cashier pretty is putting whatever soda in all the places and I am having to fix it just about everyday that I work. The pepsi guy also doesn't bring us enough of what we need and we are having to order extra.

Sooo anyways, I am feeling pretty good now that I am out of work and at the library, where it is very calm and quite. It is also very exciting that I am going to be able to talk to Kit so much more. I am going to try and scan my characters from my manga onto a disc tonight and put them on here tomorrow so that you can see at least a start of what I have.

I am new to Live Journal, in the way that I only just started it, but I know what it is all about. A good friend of mine, Kit, introduced me to it. I recently realized that it might be the only way to talk to Kit, because she live so far away.

I am working very hard on my newest project, which is a manga that I am creating. However, I have discovered that I am going to have to do a lot more research than I had ever planned on. I am really starting to get the characters nailed down and I have finally got their back stories done. Drawing them has be the hardest part, because I am kind of a perfectionist.

Other than my manga, my life has been kind of boring lately. My family life is still the same and I only wish that I can deal with it, without going completely insane.
